Dustin Stone - Arts editor (summer)
Dustin Stone is a journalism senior specializing in writing terrible stories for print publications. Perfectly content with his role as a reporter, he assumed the position of arts editor after being “coerced” by supervising editor, Giana Magnoli, and her pack of hired goons.
He began his college career as an English literature major but, upon realizing his future held a job teaching smart-assed students like himself, he decided to take a break and pour concrete for a living. This reignited his love for education (read: hatred for manual labor) and shortly thereafter he set out to find his purpose in life.
Oddly enough, he found this purpose while attending a punk show. Between bands, Jello Biafra, the legendary former front man of the Dead Kennedys, spoke to the crowd about politics and other items of importance.
“All your generation does is bitch an moan about the media,” he yelled. “ Why don’t you all shut the f*ck up and become the media?”
So Dustin, being the good little follower he is, enrolled at Cal Poly, took a few classes and started writing for the Daily.
The rest is future history.
